Hotel Seeleiten

To the south of the regional capital of Bolzano, surrounded by seemingly endless vineyards and barely a stone’s throw from Caldaro Lake, you will find the 5-star Hotel Seeleiten. The hotel is run by the Moser family, who have created a place to indulge, be active, or enjoy spa treatments. The large hotel park has a heated natural swimming pool underneath palm trees, olive trees, and orange and lemon trees — perfect for floating away from your worries. Two exclusive points of access to the lake, with sunbathing area, lake house with beach bar and stand-up paddle, pedalo and rowboats for hire deliver that perfect holiday feel. Walking through the Monticolo Forest - the largest recreation site in South Tyrol - and surrounding vineyards, guests make memories that will last a lifetime. Following wine tours, cellarer Gerhard Sanin will offer wine tastings in the hotel’s winery. He has previously created outstanding wines for famous wineries. As well as the Mosers’ wines, from March 2021 the hotel’s own Mendelbier beer will also be on offer. This combined winery and brewery is a national first. Wine also plays a significant role back in the hotel. Franz Moser, the hotel owner, is a certified sommelier and takes every opportunity to offer weekly tastings in the 30-year-old cellar and pass on his expertise. To round off a perfect day in the south of South Tyrol, holidaymakers can enjoy Alpine and Mediterranean delicacies — some of them traditional, others modern and unique.
