Hotel owners Martin and Margareth Damian are passionate South Tyroleans who have been running a 4-star superior hotel for the last 30 years in the Dolomites, their home region that they hold close to their hearts. In 2016, the Damians have gone a step further and organised the biggest South Tyrolean hotel opening of the year. They now offer even more of that ‘feel-good’ experience with a new open fire and reading corner in the entry hall, more relaxation rooms, new rooms and suites, a natural swimming pond, a kids’ play area and youth lounge, an underground car park, a climbing wall and a fitness studio with panoramic views. Their daughter, Moni, has also moved back to her parents’ house after completing her training – as a brilliant head chef. Her secret? Ancient recipes from the Tiers region paired with Mediterranean cuisine. Devoted to their home region, the family is proud to be a founding member of the ‘Wanderhotels’ association. Guests can delve into the incomparable world of the Dolomites with guided walks on offer 20 times a week. Afterwards, the Similde Spa awaits, where you can bathe in pure, unchlorinated Dolomites spring water. The hotel has been given the EU Ecolabel.
